 Beit Chabad Shomron based in the town of Yitzhar reach all Israeli army bases throughout the Shomron over the week holiday of Sukkot.
The activities include assisting the soldiers in Mitzvot of the holiday with a giant mobile Sukka, blessings on the four spices, holiday packages, holiday party and entertainment with music and dancing. This is a great opportunity to show love and appreciation to the young men and women who are out their protecting our land and people. For the soldiers it is a great experience to get a surprise visit and party over the holiday season and to see that the community has them in mind and wishes to bring the festivities of the holiday into their bases. Volunteers and donations to support this effort are welcome. |
