On Monday, March 15, 4000 school children from 12 public schools in the
Shomron region will take part in the annual march of the Shomron. This
year the event will take place in the scenic Northern Shomron Region
between the towns of Hermesh and Mevoh Dotan. The children with be
bused in on 43 special protected buses from over 30 Jewish communities
in the Shomron including Kfar Tapuach, Elon Moreh, Yitzhar, Yakir,
Shaari Tikva and many others. This will be a fun and educational opportunity for the children to learn about the love of our land by walking through the beautiful scenery while supporting the Jewish residents of the area. This hike is in full cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the IDF. Teachers, parents and security personal will escort the children throughout the day. Sponsorships are needed to cover the costs of the buses and T-shirts for the kids. Each bus costs $500 and sponsorship for each child is $20.
